  • June 20, 2026 – June 21, 2026: Ballet Manila will present Paquita, a world premiere work by Lisa Mac­uja Eliz­a­lde (female).
• Tracey Durbin, Courtney Liu, and Amanda K. Miller for American Dance Festival – Program: Made in NC
  • On June 22, 2026, the American Dance Festival will present Made in NC, a program featuring new works by Tracey Durbin (female), Jabu Graybeal (male), Courtney Liu (female), and Amanda K. Miller (female).
• Tiffany Tregarthen for Opera Ballett Vlaanderen – Program: Love & Loss
  • June 23, 2026 – June 28, 2026: Opera Ballett Vlaanderen will present Love & Loss, a program featuring a new work by Tiffany Tregarthen (female) & David Raymond (male) alongside works by Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker (female), and William Forsythe (male).
• Yanelis Rodriguez, Mariya Tyurina, Julia Schalitz, and Samantha Grammer for Aalto Ballet Essen – Program: Ptah VI: Young choreographers
  • On June 25, 2026, Aalto Ballet Essen will present Ptah VI: Young Choreographers, a program featuring new choreography by Dale Rhodes (male), Yanelis Rodriguez (female), Mariya Tyurina (female), Julia Schalitz (female), Igor Volkovskyy (male), Kieren Bofinger (male), Samantha Grammer(female), and Harry Simmons (male).
• Aszure Barton for Gauthier Dance – Program: Luck/Unluck
  • On June 26, 2026, Gauthier Dance will present Luck/Unluck, a program featuring world premiere works by Aszure Barton (female) and Hofesh Shechter (male)—more performance dates yet to be announced. 
• Francesca Romo, Gina Patterson, and Babs Case for Contemporary Dance Wyoming – Program: Reset
  • June 26th, 2026 – June 27th, 2026: Contemporary Dance Wyoming will present Reset, a program featuring premieres by Babs Case (female), Francesca Romo (female), and Gina Patterson (female).
• Micaela Taylor for Paris Opera Ballet – Program: Vibrations
  • June 27, 2026 – July 14, 2026: the Paris Opera Ballet will present Vibrations, a program featuring a creation by Micaela Taylor (female), alongside works by Mats Ek (male) and Crystal Pite.

Female Choreography Commissions, World Premieres, and Programming

• Chieko Imada, Margaret Mullin and Brik Middlekauff for Ballet Tucson – Program: Spririt Garden + Other Works
  • October 23, 2026 – October 25, 2026: Ballet Tucson will present Spirit Garden + Other Works, a program featuring a world premiere work by Chieko Imada (female), Margaret Mullin (female), and Brik Middlekauff (female), alongside works by Kiyon Ross (male), Chieko Imada (female), and a yet to be announced work by a Ballet Tucson company member.
• Tasha Chu for London City Ballet at the Joyce
  • October 27, 2026 – November 1, 2026: London City Ballet will be in residence at the Joyce, and will present a program featuring new works by Tasha Chu (female), Ashley Page (male), and Florent Melac (male), alongside works by John Neumeier (male) and Glen Tetley (male).
• Chanel DaSilva for The Washington Ballet – Program: Go-Go 50
  • October 30 2026 – November 1, 2026: The Washington Ballet will present Go-Go 50, a program featuring a world premiere work by Chanel DaSilva (female), alongside works by Trey McIntyre (male), Choo San Goh (male), and Edwaard Liang (male)
• Andrea Miller for Gallim at the Joyce
  • November 11, 2026 – November 15, 2026: Gallim will be in residence at the Joyce, and will present a program featuring new works by Andrea Miller (female) and Sean Howe (male), alongside repertory works by Miller.
• Jillian Davis for Complexions Contemporary Ballet at the Joyce
  • November 17, 2026 – November 29, 2026: Complexions Contemporary Ballet will be in residence at the Joyce, and will present a program featuring world premiere works by Jillian Davis (female), Dwight Rhoden (male) and Tommie-Waheed Evans (male) alongside additional works.
• Chieko Imada for Ballet Tucson – Program: Carmen and Other Works
  • February 26, 2026 – February 28, 2027: Ballet Tucson will present Carmen and Other Works, a program featuring a world premiere work by Chieko Imada (female) alongside works by George Balanchine (male) and Justin Peck (male).

Leadership Changes

• Ballet Nacional Chileno Announce New Artistic Director
  • On June 16, 2026, the Ballet Nacional Chileno announced that Avatâra Ayuso (female) has been appointed as the new Artistic Director of the company effective September 1, 2026. Ayuso will succeed Mathieu Guilhaumon (male) in the role.
