• Jacquelyn Long and Kerati Jinakunwiphat for Pointeworks Season 3
  • On June 13, 2026, Pointeworks will present its Season 3 program, featuring new works by Jacquelyn Long (female) and Kerati Jinakunwiphat (female) alongside works by Dani Rowe (female), Andrea Schermoly (female), and Reka Gyulai (female).
• Laura Boynes and May Greenberg for Co3 Contemporary Dance Australia – Program: IN.RESIDENCE: GATHERING.2
  • June 18, 2026 – July 4, 2026: Co3 Contemporary Dance Australia will present IN.RESIDENCE: GATHERING.2, a program featuring new works by Laura Boynes (female), Sam Coren (male), and May Greenberg (female).
• Ginevra Panzetti  for T.H.E Dance Company – Program: Elusive
  • June 19, 2026 – June 21, 2026: T.H.E Dance Company will present Elusive, a program featuring a world premiere by choreographic duo Ginevra Panzetti  (female) & Enrico Ticconi alongside a work by Kim Bora (female) presented by T.H.E Dance Company as part of cont·act Dance Festival.

Female Choreography Commissions, World Premieres, and Programming

• Tracey Durbin, Courtney Liu, and Amanda K. Miller for American Dance Festival – Program: Made in NC
  • On June 22, 2026, the American Dance Festival will present Made in NC, a program featuring new works by Tracey Durbin (female), Jabu Graybeal (male), Courtney Liu (female), and Amanda K. Miller (female).
• Pam Tanowitz for Paul Taylor Dance Company at American Dance Festival
  • July 15, 2026 – July 16, 2026: Paul Taylor Dance Company will be in residence at American Dance Festival, and will present a program featuring a new work by Pam Tanowitz (female) alongside works by Jody Sperling (female), Robert Battle (male), and Paul Taylor (male).
• Emily Baker for Newport Contemporary Ballet at the Newport Dance Festival
  • July 15, 2026 – July 19, 2026: Newport Contemporary Ballet will present the Newport Dance Festival, featuring a world premiere work by Emily Baker (female), alongside works by Alison Cook Beatty Dance, Artistic Ventures in Dance, Breathing Art Company, DaYoung Jung (female), and East Coast Contemporary Ballet.
• Tess Sinke for Deos Contemporary Ballet – Program: COLLIDE Series 26
  • July 31, 2026 – August 1, 2026: Deos Contemporary Ballet will present COLLIDE Series 26, a program featuring a world premiere work by Tess Sinke (female), alongside a work by Christine Settembrino (female).
• Noelle Kayser for BalletX – Program: Spring Series 2027
  • March 10, 2027 – March 21, 2027: BalletX will present Spring Series 2027, a program featuring world premiere works by Noelle Kayser (female) featuring an original score by Julia Kent (female), and Le Wang (male) alongside a work by Gregory Dawson (male).
• Natasha Adorlee and Phoebe Jewitt for BalletX – Program: Summer Series 2027
  • July 7, 2027 – July 18, 2027: a program featuring new works by Mthuthuzeli November (male), Natasha Adorlee (female), and BalletX Choreographic Fellow Phoebe Jewitt (female).

Leadership Changes

• Dallas Black Dance Theatre Announces New Executive Director
  • On June 10, 2026, Dallas Black Dance Theatre announced that Kristie Patton Foster (female) will succeed Zenetta S. Drew (female) as Executive Director of the company. 
• Finnish National Opera and Ballet Announces New Principal Conductor
  • The Finnish National Opera and Ballet announced that Dima Slobodeniouk (male) will succeed Hannu Lintu (male) as Principal Conductor, effective August 2026.
