• Laura O’Malley, Ashley Baker, Izzy Urbano, and Lydia Acker for Ballet Idaho Trainee Program – Program: Emergence
  • On April 25, 2026, Ballet Idaho will present Emergence, a program featuring world premiere works by Laura O’Malley (female) and Glenn Edgerton (male) alongside works by Ashley Baker (female), Izzy Urbano (female), and Lydia Acker (female). The company will also perform La Bayadere staged by Stephanie Orza (female).
• ​​Mayte Natalio for Parsons Dance at the Joyce
  • April 29, 2026 – May 10, 2026: Parsons Dance will be in residence at the Joyce and will present a program featuring world premiere works by Mayte Natalio (female) and David Parsons (male), alongside works by David Parsons.
• Alysa Pires for Royal Winnipeg Ballet – Program: The Mix
  •  Apr 30, 2027–May 2, 2027: the Royal Winnipeg Ballet will present The Mix, a program featuring a world premiere work by Alysa Pires (female), alongside works by Hans van Manen (male) and George Balanchine (male).
• Sirui Liu for Mutual Dance Theatre – Program: Modern Mix 26
  • May 1, 2026 – May 2, 2026: Mutual Dance Theatre will present Modern Mix 26, a program featuring new works by Sirui Liu (female), Nat Wilson (he/they), Shane Ohmer (male), and Joshua Ishmon (male). 
• Maria A. Konrad for Nashville Ballet – Program: Sherlock
  • May 1, 2026 – May 3, 2026: Nashville Ballet will present Sherlock, a program featuring a world premiere work by Maria A. Konrad (female) alongside a Tennessee premiere by Penny Saunders (female), and a work by Donald Byrd (male).
• Michelle Quiner for American Repertory Ballet – Program: Americana
  • May 1, 2026 – May 3, 2026: American Repertory Ballet will present Americana, a program featuring New works by Michelle Quiner (female) and Ethan Stiefel (male), alongside works by George Balanchine.
• Kia Smith and Natasha Adorlee for South Chicago Dance Theatre at the Harris Theater
  • On May 1, 2026, South Chicago Dance Theatre will be in residence at the Harris Theater to present a program featuring world premiere works by Natasha Adorlee (female), David Dorfman (male), and Kia S. Smith (female).

  • On April 26, 2026, Ballet de Monterrey will present Vértice, a program featuring a new creation by Sonia Jiménez (female), alongside works by George Balanchine (male), Jorge García (male), and Robbie Fairchild (male), and classical and contemporary repertory.
• Gabrielle Martin for Corporeal Imago – Program: Drift
  • May 21, 2026 – May 23, 2026: Corporeal Imago will present Drift, a world premiere by choreographers Gabrielle Martin (female) and Jeremiah Hughes (male).
• Kristen Wicklund for Dutch National Ballet – Program: Legacies
  • September 10, 2026 – September 27, 2026: Dutch National Ballet will present Legacies, a program featuring a world premiere work by Kirsten Wicklund (female), alongside works by George Balanchine (male), Hans van Manen (male), Toer van Schayk (male).
• Marina Sánchez for Ballet Nacional de Sodre – Program: Copélia
  • September 17, 2026 – September 30, 2026: Ballet Nacional de Sodre will present Copélia, a new creation by Marina Sánchez (female).
• Alice Klock for Charlotte Ballet – Program: Black Box Series
  • October 2, 2026 – October 17, 2026: Charlotte Ballet will present Black Box Series, a program featuring a world premiere work by choreographic duo Alice Klock (female) and Florian Lochner (male), alongside works by Mthuthuzeli November (male) and Alejandro Cerrudo (male).
• Zoë Greten for Dutch National Ballet Second Company – Program: Ballet Vibes
  • February 6, 2027 – March 7, 2027: Dutch National Ballet Second Company will present Ballet Vibes, a program featuring world premiere works by Zoë Greten (female), Luca Abdel-Nour (male), Rutkay Özpinar (male), and Ernst Meisner (male), alongside works by Sir Kenneth MacMillan (male) and Hans van Manen (male).
• Jessica Wright and Morgann Runacre-Temple for Dutch National Ballet – Program: Prey
  • February 13, 2027 – March 2, 2027: Dutch National Ballet will present Prey, a program featuring an evening-length world premiere work by choreographic duo Jessica Wright (female) and Morgann Runacre-Temple (female).
• Zoë Demoustier for Opera Ballett Vlaanderen – Program: A Wave
  • March 10, 2027 – May 13, 2027: Opera Ballett Vlaanderen will present A Wave, a world premiere work by Zoë Demoustier (female).

Leadership Changes

• American Ballet Theatre Announces Music Director Transition
  • On April 16, 2026, American Ballet Theatre announced that Ormsby Wilkins (male) will retire as Music Director of the company, effective August 2026. The company also announced that David LaMarche (male) will succeed Wilkins in the role. 
• Miami City Ballet Announced New Executive Director
  • On April 14, 2026, Miami City Ballet announced that Scott Altman (male) has been appointed as Executive Director of the company. Altman succeeds Juan José Escalante (male), who departed the company in February 2026.
