DANCE DATA PROJECT® WELCOMES MICHAEL FELLER TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Northbrook, IL | June 24, 2026 | Dance Data Project® (DDP) is proud to announce the addition of renowned performing arts supporter & philanthropic strategist Michael Feller to its Board of Directors.
Michael Feller, MBA, EdD is a long-time arts and funding professional; he served as a Distinguished Lecturer at Baruch College School of Public & International Affairs and as a Principal at Strategic Philanthropy Advisors. Before those positions, he spent twenty-one years at JPMorgan Chase, and concluded his career as President of the J.P. Morgan Chase Foundation. During his tenure, the Foundation was the leading financial services industry global philanthropy program, reaching a high of $104 million in 2002 with a staff of 25. He also managed employee volunteer programs and matching gifts. Under his leadership, Global Days of Service, an annual volunteer program, grew to 25,000 participants working on more than 1,300 projects in 300 cities around the world. Before that, he served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility, SVP for Community Relations, and worked in Private Banking, Middle Market Banking, and the Finance Division. He has served on the boards of both Dorrance Dance and the Joyce Theater.
Michael Feller will officially join the board on July 1. He has already made valuable contributions as an advisor since his initial meeting with DDP Founder and President Elizabeth Yntema. Per his suggestion, DDP added the Percussive Companies Data Byte to the research lineup.
“Several years ago, I discovered Dance Data Project, and since then, I have found the work of Liza and her team to be very useful in my efforts as a board member,” commented Michael. “I have been impressed with the thoughtful, thorough approach DDP has taken, as well as with its focus on equity in the dance world. Additionally, after meeting Liza last summer at Jacob’s Pillow, we engaged in an ongoing conversation, which led to the addition of percussive dance to the list of DDP reports. I am honored to join this distinguished board in supporting the important work that continues at DDP.”
“As DDP continues to expand its scope, bringing leaders onto our Board who bridge finance, philanthropy, and the arts is essential, so we are thrilled to welcome Michael to the Board,” said DDP President & Founder Elizabeth ‘Liza’ Yntema. “Michael Feller is a brilliant arts advocate and experienced financial manager. He brings perspective and valuable experience beyond ballet, treating the dance sector as a vital and contributing economic powerhouse. We are extremely lucky to have him join us.”
