  • June 11, 2026 – June 14, 2026: the Polish National Ballet will present Delusions, an evening-length world premiere work by Izadora Weiss (female).
• Sol León for the Royal Ballet – Program: León and Lightfoot
  • June 11, 2026 – June 20, 2026: the Royal Ballet will present So Are We: León and Lightfoot, a program featuring a world premiere work by Sol León (female) and Paul Lightfoot (male), alongside another work by the choreographic duo.
• Carolyn Carlson for Le Ballet de l’Opéra national du Capitole – Program: Un saut dans le bleu
  • June 12, 2026 – June 17, 2026: Le Ballet de l’Opéra national du Capitole will present Un saut dans le bleu, a program featuring a new creation by Carolyn Carlson (female).

• Lisa Mac­uja Eliz­a­lde for Ballet Manila – Program: Paquita
  • June 20, 2026 – June 21, 2026: Ballet Manila will present Paquita, a world premiere work by Lisa Mac­uja Eliz­a­lde (female).
• Yanelis Rodriguez, Mariya Tyurina, Julia Schalitz, and Samantha Grammer for Aalto Ballet Essen – Program: Ptah VI: Young choreographers
  • On June 25, 2026, Aalto Ballet Essen will present Ptah VI: Young Choreographers, a program featuring new choreography by Dale Rhodes (male), Yanelis Rodriguez (female), Mariya Tyurina (female), Julia Schalitz (female), Igor Volkovskyy (male), Kieren Bofinger (male), Samantha Grammer(female), and Harry Simmons (male).
• Melissa Barak for Los Angeles Ballet at the Hollywood Bowl
  • On September 8, 2026, Los Angeles Ballet will be at the Hollywood Bowl, presenting a new work by Melissa Barak (female) featuring music by Gabriela Ortiz (female), alongside a work by George Balanchine (male), alongside a performance by the Los Angeles Philharmonic. 
• Valentina Turcu for Greek National Ballet – Program: A Streetcar Named Desire
  • February 12, 2027 – March 7, 2027: Greek National Ballet will present A Streetcar Named Desire, a new production by Valentina Turcu (female).

Leadership Changes

• Ballet BC Announces New Resident Choreographers
  • In May 2026, Ballet BC announced that choreographic duo Bobbi Jene Smith (female) and Or Schraiber (male) had been appointed as resident choreographers for the company. 
• Opera Ballett Vlaanderen + Antwerp Symphony Orchestra Announce CEO
  • On May 29, 2026, Opera Ballet Vlaanderen and Antwerp Symphony Orchestra announced that Benedikt Spierings (female) has been appointed as the CEO of these two newly merged companies, effective August 31, 2026.
• Gibney Dance Company Announces CEO
  • On May 31, 2026, Gibney Dance Company announced that Kevin Condardo (male) had been appointed CEO of the company. 
• Boston Ballet Executive Director Announces Departure
  • Boston Ballet Executive Director Ming Min Hui (female) has announced that she will depart her role effective November 2026. No successor has been appointed as of the date of this post.
