Leadership Changes
- Ballet West Artistic Director Announces Retirement
- On May 7, 2026, Ballet West Artistic Director Adam Sklute (male), announced that he will retire at the end of the 2026/2027 season. A search will be conducted for his successor.
- Charlottesville Ballet Announces Leadership Transitions
- This May, Charlottesville Ballet announced that Emily Hartka (female) will step away from her role as full time director. The company also announced that Sara Clayborne (female) will take on the role of CEO of the company, and Jordan-Elizabeth Long (female) will take on the role of Managing Director of Charlottesville Ballet Academy.
- Ballet Edmonton Appoints New Artistic Director
- Ballet Edmonton has appointed Diego Ramalho (male) as the new Artistic Director of the company. Ramalho succeeds Kristen Wicklund in the role.
