  • May 16, 2026 – May 17, 2026: New Ballet will present Giselle, a world premiere re-staging by Artistic Director Dalia Rawson (female). 
• Claire Voss for Singapore Ballet – Program: Danses de Reve
  • May 16, 2026 – May 17, 2026: Singapore Ballet will present Danses de Reve, a program featuring a world premiere work by Claire Voss (female), alongside works by Edmund Stripe (male), Choo-San Goh (male), Janek Schergen (male), and Étienne Ferrère (male).
• Gabrielle Martin for Corporeal Imago – Program: Drift
  • May 21, 2026 – May 23, 2026: Corporeal Imago will present Drift, a world premiere by choreographers Gabrielle Martin (female) and Jeremiah Hughes (male).

• Sol León for the Royal Ballet – Program: So Are We: León and Lightfoot
  • June 11, 2026 – June 20, 2026: the Royal Ballet will present So Are We: León and Lightfoot, a program featuring a world premiere work by Sol León (female) and Paul Lightfoot (male), alongside another work by the choreographic duo. 
• Ginevra Panzetti  for T.H.E Dance Company – Program: Elusive
  • June 19, 2026 – June 21, 2026: T.H.E Dance Company will present Elusive, a program featuring a world premiere by choreographic duo Ginevra Panzetti  female)& Enrico Ticconi alongside a work by Kim Bora (female) presented by T.H.E Dance Company as part of cont·act Dance Festival.
• Mamela Nyamza for Sadler’s Wells and Dance Umbrella – Program: THE HERD/LESS 
  • October 8, 2026 – October 10, 2026: Sadler’s Wells and Dance Umbrella will present THE HERD/LESS, an evening-length work by Mamela Nyamza (female).
• Imre van Opstal for Ballet BC – Program: Bodies & Voices
  • November 5, 2026 – November 7, 2026: Ballet BC will present Bodies & Voices, a program featuring a world premiere work by Imre (female) and Marne van Opstal (male) alongside another work by the choreographic duo.
• Sonya Tayeh for Gloria Kaufman at The Music Center – Program: The Surge: An Ode to Sinéad O’Connor
  • January 15, 2027 – January 17, 2027: Gloria Kaufman will present The Surge: An Ode to Sinéad O’Connor at the Music Center. The program features a world premiere work by choreographer Sonya Tayeh (female). 
• Cathy Marston for Paris Opera Ballet – Program: Nocturnal Correspondences
  • February 12, 2027 – March 8, 2027: Paris Opera Ballet will present Nocturnal Correspondences, a program featuring a new creation by Cathy Marston (female), alongside a work by Thierry Malandain (male).
• Margaret Grenier & Starr Muranko for Ballet BC – Program: Everything you ever…
  • March 4, 2027 – March 6, 2027: Ballet BC will present Everything you ever…, a program split into two parts. On March 4th and 5th, the program will feature a world premiere work by Medhi Walerski (male) alongside works by Bobbi Jene Smith (female) & Or Schraiber (male), and William Forsythe (male). On March 6th, the program will feature a world premiere work by Margaret Grenier (female) and Starr Muranko (female), alongside the world premiere by Walerski, and works by Forsythe and David Dawson (male).
• Crystal Pite for Ballet BC – Program: One & Only
  • May 6, 2027 – May 9, 2027: Ballet BC will present One & Only, a full evening of works by Crystal Pite (female). 
• Imre van Opstal for Lyon Opera Ballet – Program: Panorama
  • May 29, 2027 – June 4, 2027: the Lyon Opera Ballet will present Panorama, a program featuring a world premiere by choreographic duo Imre (female) and Marne van Opstal (male) alongside works by Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker (male), and William Forsythe (male). 

Leadership Changes

• New York City Ballet Announces New Associate Music Director
  • On May 11, 2026, New York City Ballet announced that Beatrice Jona Affron (female) has been appointed as Associate Music Director for the company, effective August 2026.
