• Andrea Yorita for First State Ballet – Program: Up Front on Market
  • November 14, 2025- November 16, 2025: First State Ballet will present Up Front on Market, a program featuring new works by Andrea Yorita (female) and Zachary Kapeluck (male).
• Cathy Marston for the Royal Ballet – Program: Perspectives: Balanchine, Marston and Peck
  • November 14, 2025 – December 2, 2025: the Royal Ballet will present Perspectives: Balanchine, Marston and Peck, a program featuring a world premiere by Cathy Marston (female), alongside works by Justin Peck (male), and George Balanchine (male).
• Annabelle Lopez Ochoa for Saint Louis Dance Theatre – Program: Fall Series
  • November 14, 2025 – November 16, 2025: Saint Louis Dance Theatre will present Fall Series, a program featuring world premiere works by Annabelle Lopez Ochoa (female) and Kirven Douthit-Boyd (male), alongside works from the company’s repertoire.
• Hélène Simoneau Danse at 92NY – Program: Late Bloomer
  •  November 14, 2025 – November 15, 2025: Hélène Simoneau Danse will be in residence at 92NY. The company will present Late Bloomer, a world premiere work by Hélène Simoneau (female). 
• Makino Hayashi, Jordan Kriston, and Marina Vianello for push/FOLD – Program: Catalysts
  • On November 15, 2025: push/FOLD will present Catalysts, a program featuring new works by Makino Hayashi (female), Jordan Kriston (female), Alana Rae, and  Marina Vianello (female).

Female Choreography Commissions, World Premieres, and Programming

• Alexandra Light at The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth – Program: Gazes
  • November 22, 2025 – November 23, 2025: The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth will present Gazes, a new work by Alexandra Light (female), created in collaboration with Texas Ballet Theater.
• Annie Rigney for Ririe Woodbury Dance Company – Program: Traverse
  • January 15, 2026 – January 17, 2026: Ririe Woodbury Dance Company will present Traverse, a program featuring a world premiere work by Choreographic Canvas commissioned artist Annie Rigney (female) alongside new works by company dancers.
• Emilie Leriche for Dance Aspen – Program: re:imagine
  • February 21, 2026 – February 22, 2026: Dance Aspen will present re:imagine, a program featuring world premiere works by Emilie Leriche (female), and Jonah Delgado (male), and Houston Thomas (male).
• Julia Feldman, DaYoung Jung, and Alexandra Schooling for Joffrey Ballet – Program: Winning Works
  • March 13, 2026 – March 22, 2026: Joffrey Ballet will present Winning Works, a program featuring new works by the winners of the 2026 Winning Works Choreographic Competition, including Fran Diaz (male), Julia Feldman (female), DaYoung Jung (female), Daniel Ojeda (male), and Alexandra Schooling (female). 
• Amber McCartney for Australasian Dance Collective – Program: Three
  • July 15, 2026 – July 18, 2026: Australasian Dance Collective will present Three, a program featuring a world premiere work by Amber McCartney (female), and Joel Bray (male), alongside works by Harrison Ritchie-Jones (male). 
• Jenni Large for Sydney Dance Company – Program: Current
  • September 3, 2026 – September 20, 2026: Sydney Dance Company will present Current, a program featuring world premiere works by Raghav Handa (male), Jenni Large (female), and Azzam Mohamed (male).

Leadership Changes

• National Dance Company Wales Announces New Executive Director
  • On November 11, 2025: the National Dance Company Wales announced that Amanda Roberts (female) has been appointed as Executive Director of the company, effective January 2026. Roberts will also join Artistic Director Bakani Pick-Up (male) as joint CEO of the company.
