- Anthea Seah for Cont.act Dance Festival – Program: Sloth Canon
- June 20, 2025 – June 22, 2025: Cont.act Dance Festival will present Sloth Canon, A co-production by T.H.E Dance Company and Company 605 featuring new choreography by Anthea Seah (female), and Josh Martin (male).
- Imre van Opstal for Dresden Semperoper Ballet – Program: Vice Versa
- June 28, 2025 – July 7, 2025: Dresden Semperoper Ballet will present Vice Versa, a program featuring world premiere works by Natalie Weir (female) and Paul Knobloch (male), alongside a work by KinSun Chan (male).
Female Choreography Commissions, World Premieres, and Programming
- Kate Harman and Courtney Scheu for ADC Youth Ensemble – Program: Echo
- June 20, 2025- June 21, 2025: ADC Youth Ensemble will present Echo, a program featuring new works by Kate Harman (female) and Courtney Scheu (female).
- Amy Hollingsworth and Roni Haver for Australasian Dance Collective and Club Guy & Roni – Program: Bad Nature
- September 3, 2025 – September 7, 2025: Australasian Dance Collective and Club Guy & Roni will be in residence at the Brisbane Festival. They will present a collaboration featuring a new production featuring artistic direction by Amy Hollingsworth (female) & Guy Weizman (male), and Associate Artistic Direction by Jack Lister (male), with choreography by Roni Haver (female)
Leadership Changes
- Ballet Des Moines Announces Leadership Transitions
- On June 11, 2025: Ballet Des Moines announced Eric Trope (male) will succeed Tom Mattingly (male) as artistic director of the company. Mattingly will transition into the role of Resident Choreographer.
- Dorrance Dance Announces New Executive Director
- On June 13, 2025: Dorrance Dance announced that Adriana Ray (female) has been appointed as Executive Director of the company.
- Miami City Ballet Announced New Artistic Director
- On June 16, 2025: Miami City Ballet announced that Gonzalo Garcia (male) has been appointed as the new Artistic Director of the company. Garcia succeeds Lourdes Lopez (female) effective August 11, 2025. This is a male-to-female transition.
