- July 4, 2025 – July 9, 2025: Lyon Opera Ballet will present À l’infini, a program featuring a world premiere work by Nacera Belaza (female), alongside works by Noé Soulier (male), and Lucinda Childs (female).
Female Choreography Commissions, World Premieres, and Programming
- Yasmine Hugonnet for Ballet du Grand Théâtre de Genève – Program: 1000&1 BPM _ Odyssey
- August 28, 2025 – September 2, 2025: Ballet du Grand Théâtre de Genève will present 1000&1 BPM _ Odyssey, a program featuring a new work by Yasmine Hugonnet (female).
- Hilary Easton for Gibney Dance Company – Program: Ringelblum
- September 18, 2025 – September 20, 2025: Gibney Dance Company will present Ringelblum, a new work written and choreographed by Hilary Easton (female).
- Iratxe Ansa for Ballet de l’Opéra de Bordeaux – Program: Joy
- April 22, 2026 – April 30, 2026: Ballet de l’Opéra de Bordeaux will present Joy, a program featuring a world premiere work by choreographic duo Iratxe Ansa (female) and Igor Bacovich (male), alongside works by Alexander Ekman (male), and Justin Peck (male).
Leadership Changes
- Ririe Woodbury Dance Company Announces New Artistic Director
- On June 3, 2025: Ririe Woodbury Dance Company announced that Leslie Kraus (female) will succeed Daniel Charon (male) as artistic director of the company effective July 1, 2025.
- Oklahoma City Ballet Announces New Executive Director
- On June 30, 2025: Oklahoma City Ballet announced that Dana McCrory (female) will succeed Jo Lynne Jones (female) as Executive Director of the company.
- Tanzmainz Announces New Dance Director
- On June 30, 2025: Tanzmainz announced that Annabelle Bonnéry (female) will succeed Honne Dohrmann (male) as Director of Dance effective July 2027.
- Catalunya Ballet Announces New Artistic Director
- On June 27, 2025: Catalunya Ballet announced that Leo Sorribes (male) will succeed Elias Garcia (male) as artistic director of the company. Sorribes is currently serving as Executive Director of the company and will add the role of Artistic Director alongside his Executive duties.
