- July 29, 2025 – July 31, 2025: Biennale Danza Venezia 2025 will present a world premiere work by Tânia Carvalho (female), entitled Ventre Do Vulcão.
- Dorrance Dance at Vail Dance Festival
- On July 30, 2025: Dorrance Dance will be in residence at Vail Dance Festival. The company will present a new evening-length work by Michelle Dorrance (female) and Ephrat Asherie (female).
- Amelia Waller and Yolande Brown for Queensland Ballet – Program: Bespoke
- July 31, 2025 – August 9, 2025: Queensland Ballet will present Bespoke, a program featuring works by Amelia Waller (female), Yolande Brown (female), and Robert Binet (male).
Female Choreography Commissions, World Premieres, and Programming
- Natasha Adorlee, Morgan Sicklick, and Makino Hayashi for National Choreographers Initiative – Program: NCI Discovery 2025
- On July 26, 2025: the National Choreographers Initiative will present NCI Discover 2025, a program featuring four new works by Natasha Adorlee (female), Glenn Edgerton (male), Morgan Sicklick (female), and Makino Hayashi (female).
- Ingrid Ferdinand and Alejandra Preciado for NW Dance Project – Program: Summer Dance Platform Showing
- On August 1, 2025: NW Dance Project will present Summer Dance Platform Showing, a program featuring new works by NW Dance Project dancers Ingrid Ferdinand (female) and Alejandra Preciado (female).
- Jennifer Archibald for Ballet Des Moines – Program: Forward
- September 26, 2025 – September 27, 2025: Ballet Des Moines will present Forward, a program featuring world premiere works by Jennifer Archibald (female) and Eric Trope (male), alongside works by Tom Mattingly (male).
- Jeni Large, Jo Lloyd, and Siobhan McKenna for Lucy Guerin Inc. – Program: Pieces
- November 26, 2025 – November 28, 2025: Lucy Guerin Inc. will present Pieces, a program featuring new creations by Jenni Large (female), Jo Lloyd (female, and Siobhan McKenna (female).
- DaYoung Jung for Ballet Des Moines – Program: Nothing Holds Still
- February 27, 2026 – February 28, 2026: Ballet Des Moines will present Nothing Holds Still, a program featuring new works by DaYoung Jung (female), Eric Trope (male) and BDM’s Choreographic Institute winner.
- Aszure Barton and Chanel DaSilva for Hubbard Street Dance Chicago – Program: Spring Series 2025
- May 14, 2026 – May 17, 2026: Hubbard Street Dance Chicago will present Spring Series 2025, a program featuring world premiere works by Aszure Barton (female), and Chanel DaSilva (female) alongside works by Bob Fosse and Gwen Verdon.
- Aszure Barton for Gauthier Dance – Program: Luck/Unluck
- On June 26, 2026: Gauthier Dance will present Luck/Unluck, a program featuring world premiere works by Aszure Barton (female) and Hofesh Shechter (male)—more performance dates yet to be announced.
Leadership Changes
- New York Theatre Ballet Announces Interim Co-Artistic Directors
- On July 23, 2025: New York Theatre Ballet announced that Giulia Faria (female) and Melissa Sadler (female) will take on the role of Interim Co-Directors while Artistic Director Steven Melendez (male) takes a six-month medical leave of absence effective August 1, 2025.
