All residency fees\, room\, and board are waived; this does not include travel\, transportation\, and artist materials \nThe three-week Residency Program brings together three “Mentoring Artists” from different disciplines\, such as the visual arts (painting\, sculpture\, photography\, film/video\, and multimedia)\, architecture\, music (composition and performance)\, literature\, choreography\, dance\, performance art\, and theater. \nThis residency is open to all artists (US and International) with a basic command of the English language is necessary. SUMMARY:Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation Creative Fellowships Millay Colony for the Arts
DESCRIPTION:Mid Atlantic Arts Creative Fellowships provide artists with the time and space to create. Hosted in partnership with Millay Arts and Virginia Center for the Creative Arts\, writers\, composers\, and visual artists can apply for two-week or one-month residencies underwritten by Mid Atlantic. \nCreative Fellows receive $3\,500 or $1\,750 (depending on the length of stay) in support of their residency.  The grant is paid to the respective residency program directly on behalf of the artist. In addition\, Fellows receive up to $250 in reimbursement for the cost of travel to and from their residency. Artists who reside in Delaware\, Maryland\, New York\, West Virginia\, District of Columbia\, New Jersey\, Pennsylvania\, Virginia\, and the U.S. Virgin Islands are eligible. \nDEADLINE: May 15\, 2022 for January-April residencies
