DESCRIPTION:An American nonprofit with a program in Italy\, the Bogliasco Foundation awards one-month Fellowships to individuals of all ages and nationalities who have made significant contributions in the arts and humanities. Fellows live and work in bucolic surroundings on the coast near Genoa\, where natural beauty combines with an intimate group setting to encourage inquiry and transformative exchange across all disciplines. \n\n\nTwice a year\, the Foundation welcomes applications from individuals doing creative or scholarly work in the following disciplines: archaeology\, architecture\, classics\, dance\, film/video\, history\, landscape architecture\, literature\, music\, philosophy\, theater\, and visual arts. SUMMARY:Hanover International Choreographic Competition
DESCRIPTION:The Ballett Gesellschaft Hannover e.V. has been organizing the ‘International Choreographic Competition Hannover’\, which is unique in Europe\, for 39 years. During this long period it has become an important factor in the national and international dance landscape. There are many dance competitions\, but the ‘International Choreographic Competition Hannover’ is the longest-running choreography competition in the WORLD! The internationality of the applicants – on average\, over 400 choreographers from over 50 nations take part – as well as the high-caliber jury show the high status it enjoys in international dance. \nPrizes range from € 6000 to € 1000. Choreographers must have professional training\, be under 40 years old\, with choreography between 5-12 minutes. Any solos must not be performed by the choreographer.  \nDEADLINE: April 15\, 2022

SUMMARY:Arkansas Arts Council Individual Artist Fellowship
DESCRIPTION:The Arts Council will award up to 18 Fellowships in six categories in 2022. Fellowships are unconditional\, non-matching grants made directly to individual\, Arkansas artists. Awarded annually\, these fellowships recognize the artistic creative excellence of the recipient’s work and enable the selected artists to devote more time and energy to creating their art and mastering their craft. Recipients of the award earn $5\,000 each in unmatched funding. The award encourages and recognizes individual Arkansas creatives whose work is exceptional. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nArtists must be 21 and an Arkansas resident. Applicants must have not previously received a Fellowship grant from the Arkansas Arts Council and can only enter in one art category per year.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDEADLINE: April 16\, 2022
