DESCRIPTION:Arts Business Collaborative\, through community-centered programs and culturally relevant services\, helps to facilitate avenues for people of color\, with an emphasis on Black\, Latine and Indigenous\, and their communities\, to leverage the economic value of cultural capital and improve their quality of life by addressing barriers of access to capital\, networks\, and knowledge. We exist as a capacity building ecosystem that offers services and programmatic engagements that utilize technical assistance to support POC individuals and organizations. \nWe are adapting and shifting the way in which we engage projects/ partners that bring change to their community and we welcome the opportunity to introduce to you our CoLearning Fellowship Community Pilot Program. A Program within Arts Business Collaborative designed to help you move your vision to reality. If selected to be a member of our inaugural CoLearning Community\, here’s a snapshot of what to expect: \n\nThis community gathers once per month for two {2} hours over a course of eight {8} to ten {10} weeks. We are thrilled to announce the fifth installment of our FREE mentorship program which consists of 4 one hour\, one-on-one mentorship sessions with dancers and esteemed Alumni from Camille A. Brown & Dancers. Dancers and artists with a strong connection to dance\, or have a dance background are encouraged to apply. All sessions will be scheduled between you and your mentor. \nThe CABD Mentorship Program is for those looking for professional development support in pursuit of a career in the arts. DESCRIPTION:The Hodder Fellowship will be given to artists and writers of exceptional promise to pursue independent projects at Princeton University during the academic year. SUMMARY:MacDowell Colony Residency
DESCRIPTION:MacDowell is the nation’s leading artist residency program. MacDowell nurtures the arts by offering creative individuals of the highest talent an inspiring environment in which they can produce enduring works of the imagination. \nAbout 300 artists in seven disciplines are awarded Fellowships each year and the sole criterion for acceptance is artistic excellence. There are no residency fees. Need-based travel grants and stipends are available to open the residency experience to the broadest possible community of artists. Artists with professional standing in their fields\, as well as emerging artists\, are eligible to apply. MacDowell encourages artists from all backgrounds and all countries in the following disciplines: architecture\, film/video arts\, interdisciplinary arts\, literature\, music composition\, theatre\, and visual arts. Any applicant whose proposed project does not fall clearly within one of these artistic disciplines should contact the admissions department for guidance. DESCRIPTION:National Dance Project Travel Fund provides monetary assistance for U.S. based presenters\, curatorial staff\, and residency directors or for current NDP artist grantees to connect in person to explore feasibility of presenting NDP-funded works. \n\nTo be eligible to apply for a Production Grant\, applicants must either be:  \n\nU.S.-based curators\, presenters\, residency directors\, or related staff (such as program or production staff) to:\n\n\n\ntravel to see works currently eligible for NDP presentation support to determine if they will be able to present the NDP work in their community\, or\nbring a currently-funded NDP artist to their community for meetings and advance planning to lay the groundwork for touring the NDP project.\n\n\n\n\nArtists currently in the creation or touring period of work supported by an NDP Production Grant to:\n\n\n\n\ntravel to conduct advance tour planning with a potential presenting organization or individual to assess the feasibility of touring their work there\, including meetings with local community members in relation to the project\, site visits to determine appropriate venues or technical capacity to present the NDP project\, etc.\n\n\n\n\n\nOnly one individual or organization\, and one individual per organization may apply for the same trip. During NEFA’s June 1\, 2022 through May 31\, 2023 Fiscal Year\, a maximum of four grants in total will be awarded for travel for any NDP supported project. \n\n\n\n\nDEADLINE: Rolling

DESCRIPTION:The three-week Residency Program brings together three “Mentoring Artists” from different disciplines\, such as the visual arts (painting\, sculpture\, photography\, film/video\, and multimedia)\, architecture\, music (composition and performance)\, literature\, choreography\, dance\, performance art\, and theater. Each Mentoring Artist determines the requirements and basic structure of their residency\, and through an online application process\, they each may select up to eight “Associate Artists” to participate in the three-week program. The essence of the program is to provide a collegial environment for artists of all disciplines where they can engage in meaningful interaction and stimulating discussions\, while pursuing individual or group projects. It is an ideal setting for the exchange of ideas\, the inspiration for new work\, and the cross-fertilization of disciplines. The programs can include formal classes\, discussions\, individual meetings\, individual and group critiques\, collaboration\, and studio time. The award-winning Leeper Studio Complex provides residents with resources such as a painting studio\, sculpture studio\, digital media studio\, dance studio\, music/recording studio\, writers’ studio\, black box theatre and library. \nAll residency fees\, room\, and board are waived; this does not include travel\, transportation\, and artist materials US and international artists. DESCRIPTION:The Individual Artist Fellowship program annually awards to up to 18 creatives in six categories of grants that recognize their accomplishments as mid- and advanced-career creatives.
