Brooklyn Arts Council- Community Arts Grants

Brooklyn-based artists, artist collectives and non-profit organizations are invited to apply for up to $5,000 to Local Arts Support to support projects in all disciplines occurring in Brooklyn throughout 2021. These grants are made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) with the support of Governor Andrew M. The Guggenheim Fellowship

The Foundation offers Fellowships to further the development of scholars and artists by assisting them to engage in research in any field of knowledge and creation in any of the arts, under the freest possible conditions and irrespective of race, color, or creed. The Foundation receives approximately 3,000 applications each year. Although no one who applies is guaranteed success in the competition, there is no prescreening: all applications are reviewed. Approximately 175 Fellowships are awarded each year.

Lower Manhattan Cultural Council- Manhattan Arts Grants

With support from the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs and New York State Council on the Arts, LMCC’s Creative Engagement and Creative Learning programs provide technical support to applicants and awards of up to $9,000 to enable hundreds of arts projects in all disciplines, serving communities from Inwood to The Battery.
