SUMMARY:Jacob's Pillow: Ann & Weston Hicks Choreography Fellows Program
DESCRIPTION:Led by long-time transformative dance artists and mentors\, Dianne McIntyre and Risa Steinberg\, the program is fully process-oriented\, with no expectations of an end-product or public showing. Each day features extensive studio time for Fellows to advance their choreographic ideas through research and experimentation. Fellows invite two dancers to join them onsite to ensure that work developed at the Pillow can continue in their communities if desired. \nFor eight choreographers who have been creating professional work for a minimum of two years. \nELIGIBILITY \nChoreographers from varied traditions\, who work in the United States and internationally\, and consider themselves early to mid-career choreographers\, with or without academic training\, are welcomed to apply. Selected Fellows are generally 22-35 years of age\, though those who more recently began choreographing\, will be considered. \nDEADLINE: ROLLING

SUMMARY:24 Seven Dance Convention
DESCRIPTION:At 24 SEVEN\, our mission is to provide dancers opportunities to grow far beyond their experience on the convention weekend. Scholarship auditions and opportunities are a great way for dancers to receive recognition for all their hard work. The auditions also provide a “real world experience” where dancers can learn their strengths and weaknesses in an audition room. Our auditions are hosted by our faculty members in a way that makes this a fun experience without the fear of being judged. \nNon-Stop Dancer Winners will receive: \n\n$300 scholarship to DancerPalooza 2025 (Crash Course Only)\nOne 24 Seven Tour Scholarship\, to be used at any 24 Seven regional workshop during the 2024-2025 & 2025-2026 season\nOne Workshop Scholarship to the 2025 Dance Awards!\nEligibility to compete in the 2025 Best Dancer Competition at The Dance Awards Las Vegas OR Orlando.\nNon-Stop Dancer Runners-Up will receive:\n$150 scholarship to DancerPalooza 2025 (Crash Course Only)\nOne Workshop Scholarship to the 2025 Dance Awards!\nEligibility to compete in the 2025 Best Dancer Competition at The Dance Awards Las Vegas OR Orlando.\n\nAt 24 SEVEN\, all Mini\, Junior\, Teen and Senior dancers (ages 8-19) that are registered for the full workshop are eligible to participate in the Non-Stop Dancer Scholarship Audition Class. Dancers must audition by their age as of January 1\, 2025. ALL DANCERS MUST BE IN THEIR “AGE APPROPRIATE” ROOM FOR THE NON-STOP DANCER AUDITION AS WELL AS THE PRECEDING AUDITION COMBO CLASS. Dancers will learn a short jazz or lyrical routine in the class prior to the audition. During the audition\, dancers will be broken up into groups and the 24 SEVEN faculty will evaluate their performance. \nDancers will be chosen by the faculty in each of the following age groups: Mini (8-10)\, Junior (11-12)\, Teen (13-15) and Senior (16-19). The selected students will be announced at the end of the audition. These students will be the “Non-Stop Dancers”! All Non-Stop Dancers will be called up on stage during the Closing Show on Sunday afternoon where the Winners and remaining Runners-up in each age division will be announced. PLEASE NOTE: Dancers must attend ALL classes and wear their scholarship numbers for all of Saturday’s and Sunday’s classes. \nOnce you are a Non-Stop Dancer Winner in one regional city\, you are not eligible to be a Non-Stop Dancer (Winner or Runner-up) or win a High 5 Scholarship in another city. Non-Stop Dancer Runners-up may continue to audition in other cities to become a Non-Stop Dancer Winner. \nDEADLINE: Rolling

SUMMARY:National Theater Project Presenter Travel Grant
DESCRIPTION:Grants reimburse up to 70% of total expenses\, including mileage\, economy class transportation\, meals\, lodging\, admission\, and\, where applicable\, conference or showcase registration fees for up to 2 people. In general\, grants range from $700-$1\,000\, with a funding maximum of $1\,500. \nThe following are eligible to apply for the NTP Presenter Travel Grant: \n\nArts presenters and curatorial staff considering NTP projects are eligible to apply for travel support to see the project(s) they are considering.\nNTP Creation and Touring Grant recipients may invite others to apply for the purpose of promoting\, publicizing\, or otherwise advancing their NTP funded project.\nNTP Creation and Touring Grant recipients may apply for travel funds for themselves for the same purposes of promoting\, publicizing\, or otherwise advancing their NTP funded project.\nCreation and Touring Grant recipients are limited to a total of 10 Presenter Travel\nGrants per NTP funded project for their own travel.\nThis could include\, but is not limited to\, travelling to meet potential presenters and curatorial staff\, bringing in press or critics to review NTP funded work\, or travel to conferences and convenings. SUMMARY:Indigo Arts Alliance Mentorship Residency Program
DESCRIPTION:The Indigo Arts Alliance studio located in Portland\, Maine is the host site for our Mentorship Artists Residency program. This program is the heart of IAA\, modeling our values of global community building. Our goal is to bring together artists from diverse backgrounds of the African Diaspora to engage in their creative process\, while building lasting relationships rooted in co-mentorship. We believe artists hold the key in creating a better world\, and in our work\, we allow for Black and Brown voices to lead the way. \nEligibility: \n\nArtists must be a descendent from any of the African nations\, African-American\, Afro-Latin\, Caribbean\, i.e.\, the communities inhabiting the geographic breadth of all the places where Africans were displaced as a result of the transatlantic slave trade\, Native Americans\, indigenous peoples\, Latinx\, Southeast Asian/Indian African Ocean World\, the Middle East\, and the Pacific Rim.\nResidents should have 2+ years of exhibition and/or studio experience.\nArtists must present a sustained commitment to their practice\, risk-taking\, and clear concepts and creative methodologies that advance artistic expression.\nArtists must demonstrate a relationship with the communities in which they live\, work\, or care about.\nApplicants must be 21+ at the time of the proposed residency.\nArtists of all disciplines are encouraged (Painting\, sculpture\, illustration\, writing\, dance\, music\, theater/performance\, photography\, fiber/textiles\, etc).\nApplicants cannot be enrolled in a full-time academic program at the time of the residency.\nIf artists maintain a full time job\, they must plan their work schedules to accommodate a minimum of 75% time in the studio during residency.\nApplicants must have the most up to date COVID-19 vaccination at least 3 months prior to the start of their proposed residency.
