New Wave Dance Festival 2024

Get ready to make waves in the world of dance as we open the doors to The 5th Annual New Wave Dance Festival, presented by AkomiDance! New Wave Dance Festival has been the perfect vehicle to bring Southern California’s AkomiDance and the groundbreaking talent of our pre-professional division, AkomiNu, to the iconic stage of New York City. Established in 2018, this festival has evolved into a pinnacle celebration of artistic expression, pushing the boundaries of dance. We invite professional and pre-professional dance companies to submit their works for consideration at this year’s New Wave Dance Festival. Your creativity and innovation are the lifeblood of our festival, and we eagerly anticipate the infusion of your artistic brilliance into the pulsating energy of New York City.

The concert will take place on the evening of Friday, April 5th, 2024, with lighting/tech rehearsal on Thursday, April 4th.
