Dance/USA has recognized the need to support artists who engage in art for social change.  The Dance/USA Fellowships to Artists (DFA) is a national program with the goal of:

1. Offering fellowship support to artists who engage in art for social change
2. Building a peer cohort and resource network
3. Facilitating initiatives to uplift the artists’ voices
