Number of Dancers By Company Report

This is Dance Data Project®’s first study exploring the number of dancers rostered at the Largest 150 (based on FY23 expenditure) ballet and classically based companies in the United States. This Report examines dancer roster counts for the 2022/2023, 2023/2024, 2024/2025, and 2025/2026 seasons. It serves as an initial assessment of the Largest 150 classically inspired ballet companies and their dancer numbers, providing a framework for future data collection.
