• Jodie Gates for Dance Theatre of Harlem at BAAND Together Dance Festival
  • July 28, 2026 – August 1, 2026: BAAND Together Dance Festival will present a program featuring a works by five dance organizations, Dance Theatre of Harlem will present a new work by Jodie Gates (female), American Ballet Theatre will present a pas de deux by Claire Davidson (female), New York City Ballet will present a pas de deux by Lar Lubovitch (male), Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater will present a work by Judith Jamison (female), and Ballet Hispánico New York will present a recent world premiere by Cassi Abranches (female).
• Rena Butler for Gauthier Dance at Jacobs Pillow
  • July 29, 2026 – August 2, 2026: Gauthier Dance will be in residence at Jacobs Pillow, and will present a program featuring a world premiere work by Rena Butler (Female), alongside US premieres by Mauro Bigonzetti (male), Virginie Brunelle (female), Stijn Celis (male), Dominique Dumais (female), Johan Inger (male), Benjamin Millepied (male), Barak Marshall (male), and Sofia Nappi (female), The second half of the evening will feature works by Sharon Eyal (female), Eric Gauthier (male), and Andonis Foniadakis (male). 
• Julia Bentkowska and Julia Litwin for Venice Biennale – Program: Biennale College Choreographers – new creations
  • July 29, 2026 – July 30, 2026: the Venice Biennale will present Biennale College Choreographers – new creations, a program featuring new creations by Julia Bentkowska (female) & Julia Litwin (female), and Amine Mazhoud (male).
• Catherine Galasso and Mia J. Chong for ODC/Dance – Program: ODC/Dance presents: Summer Sampler
  • July 30, 2026 – August 2, 2026: ODC/Dance will present Summer Sampler, a program featuring world premiere works by Catherine Galasso (female) and Mia J. Chong (female), alongside a work by KT Nelson (female).
• Tess Sinke for Deos Contemporary Ballet – Program: COLLIDE Series 26
  • July 31, 2026 – August 1, 2026: Deos Contemporary Ballet will present COLLIDE Series 26, a program featuring a world premiere work by Tess Sinke (female), alongside a work by Christine Settembrino (female).
• Jennifer Archibald and Carly Topazio for The Rosin Box Project – Program: Debuts: The Frame Wide Open
  • July 31, 2026 – August 2, 2026: The Rosin Box Project will present Debuts: The Frame Wide Open, a program featuring world premiere works by Jennifer Archibald (female), Christian Denice (male), and Carly Topazio (female).

  • On August 1, 2026, Zeitgeist Dance Theatre will present An Evening of Contemporary Dance, featuring new work by Livona Ellis (female), Francisco Gella (male), Vladimir Conde Reche (male), Jessica Miller Tomlinson (female), and Madison Falconer (female).
• Dolly Sfeir for MovementFest LA – Program: Body Of Work
  • August 7, 2026 – August 9, 2026: MovementFest LA will present Body Of Work, a program featuring original works by Performance Lab Resident Choreographers Dolly Sfeir (female), Mike Tyus (male), and Diego Vega Solorza (male), alongside works by Jessie Lee Thorne (gender expansive), Laja Field (female), Ja’Moon Jones (gender expansive), zoe | juniper, Majella Bess (female), Sam Fine (male), and Sam Cool (male).
• Dual Rivet and Kayla Farrish for Ririe Woodbury Dance Company – Program: Act 1
  • September 17, 2026 – September 19, 2026: Ririe Woodbury Dance Company will present Act 1, a program featuring new works by Dual Rivet (Chelsea Ainsworth (female) & Jessica Smith (female)) and Kayla Farrish (female).
• Gemma Bond, Aloe Liu and Katie Deuitch for Minnesota Dance Theatre – Program: The Nutcracker Suite
  • December 18, 2026- December 20, 2026: Minnesota Dance Theatre will present The Nutcracker Suite featuring choreography by Gemma Bond (female), Darrius Strong (male), Brady Farrar (male), Aloe Liu (female), and Katie Deuitch (female)
• Johanna Heusser for Tanz Lucern – Program: Common Ground
  • January 16, 2027 – April 24, 2027: Tanz Lucern will present Common Ground, a program featuring new works by Johanna Heusser (female) and Maciej Kuźmiński (male). 
• Natasha Adorlee for Dance Kaleidoscope – Program: Winter Series
  • February 5, 2027 – February 7, 2027: Dance Kaleidoscope will present Winter Series, a program featuring a world premiere by the 26/27 Jaffee & Hall Emerging Choreographer, Natasha Adorlee (female), alongside works by Sean Aaron Carmon (male), and Joshua Blake Carter (male).

Leadership Changes

• Gwangju City Ballet Announces New Artistic Director
  • In June 2026, Gwangju City Ballet announced that Jo Ga-young (female) has succeeded Park Kyung-sook (female) as Artistic Director of the company. 
• Madison Symphony Announces New Music Director
  • On July 16, 2026, the Madison Symphony announced that Laura Jackson (female) will succeed John DeMain (male) as Music Director. Jackson will take on the full-time role effective for the 2027-2028 season. 
• Portland Ballet announces Artistic Director Transition
  • On July 22, 2026, Portland Ballet announced that Lauren Lane (female) will succeed Nancy Davis (female) as Artistic Director of the company effective September 2026.
