• Claudia Schreier for Atlanta Ballet – Program: Golden Hour
  • Jun 3, 2026 – June 5, 2026: Atlanta Ballet will present Golden Hour, a program featuring world premiere works by Claudia Schreier (female) and Yuri Possokhov (male) alongside a work by Christopher Wheeldon (male).
• Morgann Runacre-Temple and Penny Saunders for BalletX – Program: Festival at the Maan
  • June 4, 2026 – June 5, 2026: BalletX will present Festival at the Maan, a program featuring world premiere works by Morgann Runacre-Temple (female), Penny Saunders (female), Trey McIntyre (male), and Jamar Roberts (male).
• Anne Mueller for Ballet Idaho – Program: Cinderella
  • June 5, 2026 – June 6, 2026: Ballet Idaho will present Cinderella, a full-length ballet featuring new choreography by Garrett Anderson (male) and Anne Mueller (female).

Female Choreography Commissions, World Premieres, and Programming

• Izadora Weiss for the Polish National Ballet – Program: Delusions
  • June 11, 2026 – June 14, 2026: the Polish National Ballet will present Delusions, an evening-length world premiere work by Izadora Weiss (female).
• Francesca Romo, Gina Patterson, and Babs Case for Contemporary Dance Wyoming – Program: Reset
  • June 26th, 2026 – June 27th, 2026: Contemporary Dance Wyoming will present Reset, a program featuring premieres by Babs Case (female), Francesca Romo (female), and Gina Patterson (female).
• Lauren Lovette for Paul Taylor Dance Company at Lincoln Center
  • November 3, 2026 – November 22, 2026: Paul Taylor Dance Company will be in residence at Lincoln Center, and will present a program featuring world premiere works by Lauren Lovette (female), and Robert Battle (male) alongside works by Paul Taylor (male), Alwin Nikolai (male), and Robert Battle. 
• Pam Tanowitz for the Royal Ballet – Program: Once more to this star
  • February 6, 2027 – February 13, 2027: the Royal Ballet will present Once more to this star, a new work by choreographer Pam Tanowitz (female) in collaboration with Royal Ballet Principal dancer William Bracewell (male). 
• Megan Philipp for State Street Ballet – Program: Brahms & Balanchine: Slaughter on Tenth Avenue
  • May 22, 2027 – May 23, 2027: State Street Ballet will present Brahms & Balanchine: Slaughter on Tenth Avenue, a program featuring a world premiere work by Nilas Martins (male) and Megan Philipp (female) alongside a work by George Balanchine (male). 

Leadership Changes

• Joffrey Ballet Announces New Associate Artistic Director
  • On May 21, 2026, the Joffrey Ballet announced that Adam Blyde (male) had been promoted from rehearsal director to the newly created role of Associate Artistic Director.
