- Hope Boykin for Martha Graham Dance Company
- On October 4, 2025: the Martha Graham Dance Company will present a new program for its Graham100 celebration. The program will include a new commission by Hope Boykin (female) alongside works by Martha Graham (female) and Jamar Roberts (male).
- Isabela Coracy, Hannah Joseph, Blue Makwana, Elisabeth Mulenga, and Rebecca Myles Stewart for the Royal Ballet – Program: Black History Month Draft Works
- October 6, 2025 – October 7, 2025: the Royal Ballet will present Black History Month Draft Works, a program featuring world premiere works by Isabela Coracy (female), Hannah Joseph (female), Blue Makwana (female), Elisabeth Mulenga (female), and Rebecca Myles Stewart (female), with lighting design by Prema Mehta (female).
- Starr Muranko, Michelle Olson, and Margaret Grenier for Co.ERASGA – Program: Eternal Gestures
- October 9, 2025 – October 10, 2025: Co.ERASGA will present Eternal Gestures, a world premiere work by Starr Muranko (female), Michelle Olson (female), and Margaret Grenier (female).
Female Choreography Commissions, World Premieres, and Programming
- Chihiro Nomura for West Australian Ballet – Program: Incandescence: Ballet at the Quarry
- February 6, 2026 – February 28, 2026: West Australian Ballet will present Incandescence: Ballet at the Quarry, a program featuring world premiere works by Tim Harbour (male), Ihsan Rustem (male), Chihiro Nomura (female), and Polly Hilton (female).
- Jessica Wright and Morgann Runacre-Temple for Paris Opera Ballet – Program: Impressions
- March 11, 2026 – March 28, 2026: Paris Opera Ballet will present Impressions, a program featuring world premiere works by Marcos Morau (male) and choreographic duo Jessica Wright (female) and Morgann Runacre-Temple (female).
Leadership Changes
- ODC/Dance Announces Co-Artistic Director
- On September 30, 2025: ODC/Dance announced that Mia J. Chong (female) will join current Artistic Director Brenda Way (female) as Co-Artistic Director of the company.
- Jacobs Pillow Announces Director of Archives
- On September 29, 2025: Jacobs Pillow announced that Dr. Sarah Nguyễn (female) has been appointed as Director of Archives for the organization.
- Batsheva Dance Company Announces New CEO
- In September 2025: Batsheva Dance Company announced that Sharon Bar-Lev (female) will succeed Dina Aldor (female) as CEO of the company, effective December 2025.
- Force Majeure Announces Departure of Artistic Director and CEO
- On September 29, 2025: Force Majeure announced that Artistic Director and CEO Danielle Micich (female) will step down from the role at the end of 2025. No successor has been appointed as of the date of this post.
